flag it down

Guess where I got this? I didnt buy from a shop or stall... It was given to me by an Indian. A cleaner in my work place. He found it in a trash can. Plenty more he said. So I asked him for some. Yup.. Garbage area. How could they throw this out? Its still clean and bright. What does this indicates? Our National Flag is just for MERDEKA DAY only? Whats the whole point of all the talk, the shows, the advertisements and such bout being proud of our nation? If my mom sees this she'd flip. Is our country's independence is just another holiday feast? Damn who ever did this. I curse thee with smite of the hell I've been through. I know that I might seems to use english and not my malay language in my everyday life till some people say I forget my roots, but hey, I dont go throw this thing out just because the holidays over. Would you do the same? Would you throw our flag down when you think its taking up space in your living room? If so, GET A PASSPORT AND LEAVE THIS COUNTRY... Coz if a low paid Indian worker would pick up this flag and keep it, I ashamed with the malays that dont. I've seen this situation to many times to let it pass. So I post it as an entry. So dont be mad at me. Just put it to thought and remember, that no matter how ugly this entry sounds to you, its a fact.
