Coffee Me Cats
I was talking to my buddies at work last week while watching some music program on TV. Then last night my best friend called and we chatted on a similar topic about copy RIGHTS and copy CATS. You guys know how the net is. Everything is up for grabs.
Its quite funny to look at how some people just to show off with themselves using other people's idea or style and uses their popularity to gain more attention. At some point, I don't really care if the copier is some regular ordinary geek that needs a friend to take them for who they are... But what really bothers me and my friends mind is, the ones that already have the main attractions pointed to them. The people that have more that 3 mains to gain it. TV, radio, and papers.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen. I'm talking about the public figure based ''celebrities''. Copying almost anything from others that uses only 1 main to express themselves. Like a Blog for example. Or even fashion, at some state. (I'm gonna keep the ''music'' stuff out from this entry cause that'll make me write it too long =j) Now. This is what my friends and I asked ourselves. Did ''they'' (the copier) really think that the people they copied from wouldn't notice? And do they think that these low-profiled trend setters doesn't have fans or friends among their piers that they try to show off to?
The main question here is, however, why would these copier wont even bother talking to the ones they copied from? Really. They don't. In fact, some of them even became snobbish and acted like they are the ones being copied. Ego? Nah... Cowards maybe. Afraid that they loose what they gain from it. Respect. But wouldn't they get more respect and fans if they could find time to bow down and admit where they get their bright idea? Hmm... Typical. Don't you think? =j
